Description

Founded by art dealers Imre and Joseph Brummer, the Brummer Gallery promoted the market for medieval art in Europe and the US. One of the pieces that passed through the hands of the Brummers was the Burgundian "Enthroned Virgin and Child," which was later sold to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
